iPhone and Samsung Favourited in United States


Apple and Samsung keep increase its share of the cellphone market, respectively in the United States (U.S.). But according to the latest data, Samsung lead the control of nearly 40 percent of cellphones used in the U.S.

Reported by Apple Insider, Tuesday (05/05/2013), in MobiLens Improved overview of the cellphone market by research firm comScore, iPhone controlled 39.2 percent of cellphone subscribers in the U.S.. Apple managed to maintain his lead for three consecutive months through April with a market share rose 1.4 points from the end of January when it had a market share of 37.8 percent.

In comparison, Samsung is the second largest producer position in the U.S. market in late January with a market share of 21.4 percent or 16.4 percent adrift of Apple. Apple continues during February to April 2013 with a master 39.2 percent market share, while Samsung's 22 percent.

In addition to Apple and Samsung no other smartphone manufacturers who managed to record double-digit during the same period. The top five U.S. smartphone market other occupied successively by HTC, Motorola, and LG.

For three months, the HTC controlled 8.9 percent of U.S. smartphone subscribers, Motorola 8.3 percent, 6.7 percent and LG.
