LG Announced New LG Optimus G2 on 7 August?


SEOUL - LG has announced plans to launch the successor of LG Optimus G, that scheduled for this year. Recently, this company has distributed invitations to an event that is predicted to introduce a successor to the LG Optimus G or known as LG Optimus G2.

Quoted from Softpedia on Saturday (06/22/2013), the South Korean handset vendor (ROK) is known to send out invitations for a media event to be held on August 7 at News York, United States (U.S.). Although there is no official confirmation, but according to records UnwiredView, LG Optimus G2 is expected to introduce the event.

Previously, reports were circulated reveals that LG Optimus G2 will be powered by Snapdragon processor 800. LG is also rumored to equip it with a smartphone operating system Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5-inch Full HD screen, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP camera, and battery capacity of 3.000 mAh.

In addition, LG Optimus G2 also supports 4G LTE network. As there have been no leaks about the specs that are owned G2.
