2014, Amount of Mobile Cellphone Exceed Human Population


CALIFORNIA - People could not be left by mobile phone (cellphone) later. Along with the development, increased technology needs. In fact many people use more than one mobile phone, which estimated the number of mobile subscribers exceeded the human population in 2014.

Disitat from GadgetNdtv, Tuesday (14.5.2013), the International Telecoms Union (ITU) predicts, the amount of cellphone cards which registered will surpass seven billion on 2014. With 7.1 billion people on the Earth course, BBC News reported that at least 6.8 billion registered mobile card.

In addition to predicting the number of mobile subscribers exceeded the number of human population, ITU also found that 2.7 billion people or nearly 40 percent of the world's population access the internet. Europe has the highest penetration at 75 percent, followed by Americans 61 percent, Asia 32 percent and Africa 16 percent.

Commonwealth of Independent States, the Soviet Union of the Commonwealth, is believed to have the highest penetration of mobile phones with 1.7 subscribers for every person. Meanwhile, Africa has 63 subscribers per 100 inhabitants.

"Every day we are move more near see number of subscribers cellphone who equaling amount human population in Earth," said Director Bureau Telecommunication Development ITU Brahima Sanou.

"The mobile revolution is able to provide ICT applications in education, healthcare, government, banking, and the business environment in developing countries," he added.
